How soon can I get my gift?

We aim to dispatch all orders within 48 hours Mon-Fri.  If you choose priority dispatch we will aim to dispatch next day. Our printing facility is closed over the weekend and bank holidays, so please allow extra time if you order over these periods.  See our Delivery and Prices page for more detail.

Do I need my own photos?

We have an extensive image library, so if you don't have your own photos you can use these.  We recommend mixing your own photos with some of our romantic images for best effect.

Is it difficult to do?

Most people with basic computer skills can complete a Photo-love-letter or Photo-love-book.  If you would like a free tutorial on our software please contact us.

Will my partner recognise the parcel?

All Photo-love-letters are sent out in a discrete brown parcel with no branding or company name anywhere.

How long will it take me to do a love letter?

It can be a short as 10 minutes, or it could be an hour or two.  The time it takes depends on which product and layout you choose and how many photos you upload and/or change. For speed, insert text from the poem picker. You can save your work and return to it on another day - just click the save button in the creator.

What if I've made a mistake, but passed through to payment?

Contact us immediately.  We do check each letter before printing for obvious errors but we cannot guarantee to spot everything. If it is still waiting to be printed we may be able to make amendments or you can re-do your order.

I had a problem with my card, it didn't process?

Don't panic!  Your Photo-love-letter will be safely stored on our system, just call us on 0117 230 98 90, during office hours and we can take payment by phone.

What size and format do my photos need to be?

We recommend your photos should be a minimum of 1240 x 1240 pixels in size. You can check the size of a photo by right clicking the file and selecting properties. You can upload lower resolution photos but we recommend only using these in the smaller photo-boxes to ensure quality is still acceptable.  All your photos need to be JPEGS.  You need to make sure your photos are the right way up on screen before uploading (in Windows right click the photo and select 'rotate').

I can't spell and my grammar is really poor - can you help?

The online spell-checker will highlight any errors for you.  Simply right click the mouse on the error and it will display alternative spellings.  You can also use text from the poem picker which is spell-checked already.

I really like the idea but I just don't know what to write?

See our love letter writing tips page for ideas, and consider using our pre written love letters in the poem picker.

My letter is very personal, will you read it?

Our production team have been very carefully chosen for their trustworthiness and we operate in a very discrete and respectful way, treating each Photo-love-letter as a confidential document.  We only check your letter for any technical errors not for written content.

Is my payment safe?

We use Sage Pay, a payment specialist to keep your payment safe.  They are the largest independent payment processor in the UK and are compliant to the highest level in payment card industry data security standards (PCI DSS).

We won't capture or store your card details and once you have entered your card number into our secure payment page, securely hosted by Sage Pay, all sensitive data is encrypted and sent to the banks for processing.
